For our book pick this month, I am choosing “Fiona and Jane” by Jean Chen Ho. This is a witty and heartwarming story of two best friends! We follow them as they explore the lonely freeways and seedy Los Angeles bars through their teenage years, surviving unfulfilling romantic encounters and carrying with them the scars of their families’ tumultuous pasts. The women grow and float in and out of each other’s lives but their friendship is always there, spanning countries and time.
