About Lisa Simmons, Founder of Lemonberry
Hi, I’m Lisa Simmons, a mom of two amazing kids and the founder of Lemonberry. Fashion and travel have always been my greatest passions, and I opened Lemonberry in February 2004 in Aurora, Ontario, inspired by the bold, urban street styles of New York City. I often travel to NYC to find fresh trends and unique pieces for the store.
In 2013, I experienced a life-changing moment with the passing of my dad. It shifted my perspective on life, and I realized that life isn’t just about making money. This led me to embrace a more eco-conscious lifestyle and rethink the impact fashion has on the environment. Today, Lemonberry has evolved to offer sustainable, non-toxic clothing and beauty products, with a strong focus on Canadian-made items. While most of our collection is already eco-friendly, we’re committed to making the entire store sustainable in the near future.
I absolutely love what I do, and I’m incredibly grateful for our wonderful customers who inspire me every day.
